MADURAI: Train passengers who are travelling in this scorching summer heat will get some sigh of relief at Madurai railway junction as buttermilk will be provided daily on railway platform in Madurai till the end of summer season.
Buttermilk distribution commenced at Madurai Railway Junction on May 15th 2026 thanks to the sponsor support of Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry that came forward to provide 500 litres of butter milk to train passengers till the end of this summer season, according to a press release from Madurai Division of Southern Railway here today evening.
