MADURAI: Maharashtra Chief Minister Mr.Devendra Fadnavis had today lashed out at the DMK Government and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr.M.K.Stalin for misleading the voters, youngsters and people of Tamil Nadu with his misleading dangerous statements on important issues of temples, language. Hindi etc.
“When we are living in a country, we must respect other languages also. It is very important that we must treat other languages in India with same respect. Our Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi always respects Tamil because we know that Tamil is our ancient language that preserves the Tamil culture and heritage. We respect Tamil a lot, but at the same time when we are in country, we must respect other Indian languages also,” he said after visiting the world famous Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in Madurai today- April 6th 2026.
The Maharashtra Chief Minister was in Madurai today to be with the BJP candidate of Madurai South Assembly constituency Prof.Raama Sreenivasan who had filed his nomination papers as Madurai South MLA candidate on behalf of the NDA here today morning.
“We all know that Tamil is world’s ancient language and all of us respect Tamil. At the same time, we must go by the Constitution of India also and abide by it by respecting other languages. The present DMK government in Tamil Nadu is anti-Hindu, they are not respecting Tamil Nadu’s age old traditions of Hindus…DMK is not implementing the court orders also and so we say that it is functioning against our Constitution… The DMK govt became an anti-Hindu party in Tamil Nadu. The BJP-AIADMK alliance of NDA with all other parties will surely win the coming assembly elections in this State,” the Maharashtra CM Mr.Devendra Fadnavis told reporters after coming out of Meenakshi Temple in Madurai today- April 6th 2026.
