MADURAI: New office-bearers of Confederation of Indian Industry Indian Women Network (CII IWN) of Madurai Zone have been appointed during the CII IWN Madurai Zone annual session held in Madurai on March 31st 2026.
Dr.Hema Sathish, Managing Director, Devadoss Multispeciality Hospital Pvt Ltd-Madurai, has been appointed as convenor of CII IWN Madurai Zone 2026-27 while textiles sector expert Ms.Visalakshi Kannan, Director, Thiagarajar Mills Pvt Ltd, Director of VTM Ltd and founder and CEO of Pacific Cotton-USA, has been appointed as Co-Convenor of CII IWN Madurai Zone, according to a press release from CII Madurai Zonal Office here today.
CII IWN convenor Dr.Hema Sathish from Madurai is a healthcare leader and a cosmetic dermatologist who is well known in Madurai as an entrepreneur in health sector with over two decades in clinical practice, hospital administration and strategic initiatives in healthcare delivery. She is an MBBS graduate from Annamalai University and a Diploma in Dermatological Sciences from the University of Wales at Cardiff in UK.
Ms.Visalakshi Kannan is a Director at Thiagarajar Mills Private Limited and VTM Limited which are a part of the esteemed Thiagarajar Group from Madurai.
“She is also the founder and CEO of Pacific Cotton and she takes efforts for global market linkages to expand the reach of Indian cotton products with her ideas team in innovation and design that comes with legacy,” the CII press release on April 3rd 2026 has said.
