MADURAI: With the assembly election heat picking up gradually along with hot summer, the AIADMK candidate for Madurai North assembly constituency Dr.P.Saravanan has lashed out at the present ruling DMK government in Tamil Nadu by saying that the people are ready to defeat Stalin and his team to give them home rest after 2026 assembly elections.
“The voters are already decided to give a long leave to the DMK due to serious issues faced by the common man for law and order, safety issues, corruption and misuse of official machinery even during the elections time when a strict election model code of conduct for the 2026 assembly polls is now in place. Especially in Madurai North assembly constituency, the present DMK MLA Mr.Thalapathi is being seen as a guest, stranger and as a visitor by the people because he never went out for people’s issues in Madurai North area,” Dr.P.Saravanan told reporters in Madurai city yesterday-April 1st 2026.
Exuding confidence that EPS will become the next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in the 2026 assembly polls, the AIADMK’s Madurai North candidate has said that the voters will not get carried away by DMK coupon assurance manifesto of poll promises because the women know what happened to Rs.1,000 per month which was promised to all women by M.K.Stalin in the last elections.
“There is going to be a big massive political change in Tamil Nadu and our leader Edappadi K Palanisamy will become next CM. We are sure that NDA will get a huge positive mandate from the Tamil Nadu people in 2026 elections. DMK’s coupon promise will not be taken seriously by the voters this time and I am sure that AIADMK-NDA candidates will win in all the 10 assembly seats in our Madurai district,” Dr.P.Saravanan has said while talking to reporters after the opening of his AIADMK candidate election office at Narimedu in Madurai (near Dr.Saravana Hospital in Narimedu) in Madurai on April 1st 2026.
