MADURAI: The 99th birthday of Dr.H.V.Hande who was the right hand of Tamil Nadu’s former Chief Minister M.G.Ramachandran is going to be celebrated in Chennai on November 28th 2025.
His admirers, family members and friends who have been associated with him for past several decades will gather at Hande Hospital in Shenoy Nagar in Chennai on November 28th morning to greet Dr.H.V.Hande on his 99th birthday celebrations and take more inspiration from the active life of this towering personality who is known for his distinguished contributions in public life.
Our ‘Lotus Times’ news website from Madurai extends its birthday greetings in advance to former Health Minister Dr.H.V.Hande with whom senior journalist Shastry V Mallady has a very long association and had an opportunity to have an exclusive interview with him a couple of years back on important events in political history of Tamil Nadu especially during the days of MGR when he was the Chief Minister and Dr.Hande was the Health Minister.
In that interview, Dr.H.V.Hande spoke about the greatness of magnetic personality MGR and how he felt like he was working as a Hanuman for the great MGR during the important times like MGR’s hospitalization for medical treatment in the 80s and at the time of filing of election nomination papers by MGR from Andipatti assembly constituency. During that crucial period, Dr.H.V.Hande was the Health Minister.
