
MADURAI: Students of Sethu Institute of Technology at Kariyapatti near Madurai had a great opportunity to showcase their innovative ideas and get hands-on exposure in entrepreneurship at ‘Sethu Trade Fair 2025’ held in the campus on September 11th and September 12th 2025.
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Women’s Cell and Entrepreneur Development Cell of Sethu Institute of Technology had jointly organised ‘Sethu Trade Fair’ with enthusiastic participation by students.
Mr.S.Mohamed Jaleel, Chairman, SIT, had inaugurated the fair along with chief guest Mr.K.Sakthivel, Project Lead, Startup TN-Madurai, in the presence of SIT Chief Executive Officer Mr.S.M.Seeni Mohaideen, Joint CEO Mr.S.M.Seeni Mohamed Aliyar, Directors Ms.S.M.Nilofer Fatima and Ms.S.M.Nazia Fatima along with Principal Dr.G.D.Sivakumar and faculty from various departments.
“The trade fair had featured a variety of creative and innovative stalls put up by our students showcasing products ranging from food to fashion, art and handicrafts besides technical exhibits. It was a very lively experience, and it gave hands-on experience in team work, time management and entrepreneurship,” according to a press release received from Sethu Institute of Technology here yesterday.
