In 1931, a formal resolution was passed to adopt Pingali Venkaiah’s flag design with a slight modification. On July 22nd 1947, the Constituent Assembly officially adopted the flag of free India,” the special small booklet released by the Government of India has said giving information about idea and evolution of ‘Tiranga’ (tri-colour), Tiranga in Indian freedom struggle and Har Ghar Tiranga Movement.

This exhibition is organized in connection with Independence Day celebrations 2025 as a part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign across the country.
