MADURAI: The 69th Railway Week celebrations and distribution of ‘Rail Seva Puraskar’ awards to railway staff in Madurai railway division were held in Madurai today- June 4th 2025.
Mr.Sharad Srivastava, Divisional Railway Manager-Madurai, was the chief guest for the celebrations and he distributed awards to railway staff for their commendable performance during the year 2024-25.
The list of awardees at DRM’s level in Madurai Division who received ‘Rail Seva Puraskar’ awards today include the employees from various departments of railways. The awardees are: N.M.Lakshmipriya (Accounts), Ms.Rani Jyothika (Commercial), M.Arumugam (Electrical-Genl), L.Sabarinathan (electrical-TRD) and A.James Selvaraj (Electrical-OP).
From the engineering side, the railway employees list of awardees in Madurai division are Prem G.Das, A.Azad Gulam, Vinay Kumar Chaurasia, M.R.Lokeswaran, S.Premnivas, R.Suriyadevi, R.Pandi and P.Ganesh Murugan. In the mechanical department, G.Sathish Prabhu and G.Ganesan got the awards while A.Ashish was the recipient in general.
Jayarani P.U. got the ‘Rail Seva Puraskar’ award from the medical wing and from the operating side there were five award winners- K.Ponnuchamy, A.Pandian, R.Murugesan, M.Suresh Amal Raj and A.Meenakshi Sundaram.
J.Jasmine from personnel department was among the award recipients while A.Sankareswaran from security, S.Siva Sankaran from S&T and M.Kumaresan from Civil Defence were the others who got the award, according to information received from Madurai Division of Southern Railway here today-June 4th 2025.
