MADURAI: Tamil Nadu BJP State general secretary Prof.Raama.Sreenivasan has said that AIADMK will regret after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections for the political stand it is taking now by keeping away from the BJP and not joining the NDA alliance.
“There will be a clear reduction of voting percentage for both the DMK and AIADMK in this coming Parliament elections. The combined voting percentage of these two parties will not exceed 50 per cent this time. The path of Tamil Nadu politics will change in 2024 elections. Without alliance, BJP will be number two party in Tamil Nadu and the AIADMK will regret after seeing the results,” Prof.Dr.Raama.Sreenivasan told ‘Lotus Times’ media in Madurai on March 2nd 2024.
He said that the point to think for the AIADMK is what will happen if the DMK wins Lok Sabha seats and AIADMK performs badly in 2024. “For BJP, there is no problem because we will be in power at the Centre. What about AIADMK? Already it lost the 2021 elections and if it loses now, the people’s confidence on AIADMK will come down drastically,” the senior BJP leader observed.
