MADURAI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tamil Nadu is getting geared up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 as the party’s State president Mr.K.Annamalai has today released a list of 38 committees assigning responsibilities to various leaders.
On February 5th 2024, the BJP-Tamil Nadu has released a comprehensive list from the party headquarters in Chennai in preparation for the Parliament elections. The Election Management Committee will have M.Chakravarthy as convenor and the co-convenors are K.S.Narendran, Narayanan Tirupathi and M.Nachiappan.
The Manifesto Committee will be led by senior leader and Ex-MLA H.Raja as convenor and the co-convenors are Dr.K.P.Ramalingam (Ex-MP), Dr.S.K.Karvendhan (Ex-MP) and Prof.Raama Srinivasan.
The Media Department will have media relation cell State president P.Ranganayakulu (a) Sriranga as convenor and the other members are S.N.Balaji, M.Jeyaguru and Sowmiya Rani Pradeep. The Media Relation department will have ‘Oreynadu’ editor Nambi Narayanan and State spokesperson Srikanth Karunesh.
A detailed list of all the departments/committees was released to the media by the Tamil Nadu BJP on February 5th 2024.
The various other committees include ‘Talking Points’ which will have Prof.Raama Srinivasan and Dr.P.Kanaga Sabapathi as its convenor and co-convenor respectively, and booth work department, SC-ST campaign, youth and women campaign, Pravasi workers, street meeting, legal matters, cultural publicity, digital department, social media and H-Tech campaign, literature preparation etc.
