MADURAI:The Velammal College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), Madurai, had entered in to Memorandum of Understanding with Goethe-Institut in Chennai which is a renowned cultural institution promoting German language and culture worldwide. This MoU was signed at Chennai on 2nd February 2024.
“The collaboration with Goethe-Institut is a significant partnership, and a collaboration that marks a milestone in fostering educational and cultural exchange between India and Germany,” a press release received from the college here yesterday has said.
Dr.S.Gomathy, Professor and Head, Velammal Institute of English and Foreign Languages, attended the meeting with Dr.Katharina Gorgen, Director of Goethe Institut-Chennai, for this MoU signing event.
The collaboration outlines mutual areas of cooperation aimed at enhancing the academic, cultural and linguistic proficiency of students and faculty members, it will enrich the academic and cultural landscape of both the institutions, the press release added.
