MADURAI: The team of O.C.P.M.Girls Higher Secondary School in Madurai had bagged the gold medal and trophy in ball badminton in U-14 category in the 3rd State-level Republic Day Games 2023-24 which were held in Pudukottai district from February 2nd to February 4th 2024.
These gamed were organised by the School Education Department of Government of Tamil Nadu and the ball badminton fixtures took place on February 2nd and 3rd 2024. Teams from 38 districts in the State participated in the U-14 category ball badminton in which the O.C.P.M.Girls Higher Secondary School team from Madurai came first and emerged as winner, bagging the gold medal and trophy.
The ball badminton fixtures were held at Jayarani Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Mettupatti in Pudukottai district.
The school management, correspondent, HM and staff of OCPM Girls School had congratulated the girls who won the ball badminton, a press release received from the school here yesterday had informed.
