MADURAI: A written complaint was sent to the Madurai District Collector against RAKS Hospital in Anna Nagar Kuruvikaran Salai locality in Madurai city urging to him to take action against this hospital for providing COVID treatment with poor infrastructure facilities and various inadequacies.
Congress leader Mr.C.M.Syed Babu who is a member of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee, has sent an e-mail to Madurai District Collector on 4th June 2021 in this regard seeking his immediate intervention, inspection and action against the hospital. (HE GOT A REPLY MESSAGE FROM COLLECTOR SAYING…. “Complaint noted sir.Your complaint has been forwarded to concerned authority.”)
“Raks Hospitals is located in 34th ward……near health centre in Sathamangalam in Madurai. I am bringing to your attention about this private hospital that is giving Corona treatment to patients without proper infrastructure. I request you to personally visit this hospital and conduct an inspection in RAKS Hospital. And take appropriate action in the interest of general public and common man,” Mr.Syed Babu had petitioned in his complaint e-mail letter to Madurai District Collector on June 4th 2021.
The Congress functionary had pointed out in his complaint letter that no steps were taken by the health department authorities here despite lodging a complaint against RAKS Hospital, Madurai. He told ‘Lotus Times’ website today morning- on 6th June 2021- that huge money is being collected from Corona patients for treatment. “There is a strong opinion that RAKS Hospital in Sathamangalam area in Madurai is not fully equipped for giving COVID treatment. So, we are requesting our district collector to take action,” the Congress leader added.
