( PART – 2 )

MADURAI: A six-rule diktat has been given by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)  national leadership to the leaders and cadres in Tamil Nadu for the Vistarak initiative which takes full-time party workers to booth level in all districts.

The BJP national general secretary and Tamil Nadu in-charge Mr.P.Muralidhar Rao had a two-hour meeting with over 200 volunteers who are on Vistarak-Shakthi Kendra work in Madurai on July 6th 2017.

He had clearly explained the six rules to be strictly followed for 15 days and what the party is expecting from them. Firstly, they have to give time for 15 days to carry out full-time work at booth level. Then, the vistarak workers of the BJP who will work from the booth and ward level must quickly form booth committee in every booth.

The third rule to be followed is to undertake house-to-house contact in booths assigned to them. Mr.Muralidhar Rao told the Vistarak volunteers that the fourth rule is carry out new membership drive for the party.
While distribution of party literature and Modi government scheme pamphlets is the fifth rule, the sixth rule is to return the collected details and all booth-level information to the district leadership.
CONDUCT BOOTH MEETINGS:
“You have to pass two exams and it is applicable to all office-bearers of the BJP. Spending 15 days for the party work and constituting booth committees are the two important exams you have to pass. Conduct booth committee meetings, take photographs and put them on your local party whatsapp groups. Only then, the party leadership will recognise your work as pucca,” he said.

Mr.S.Surendran, BJP State vice-president, Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, party’s State secretary, Mr.Saseeraman, Madurai Urban district BJP city president and Mr.K.K.Sreenivasan, district organising general secretary, were among those who were present at this important meeting in Madurai on July 6th 2017 (Thursday).
