MADURAI: Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Dr.N.Jegatheesan has been nominated as a member of Airport Advisory Committee of Madurai International Airport by the Airports Authority of India.
His nomination was made based on the recommendation made by Virudhunagar MP Mr.B.Manickam Tagore through his letter to airport officials dated August 25th 2026, according to a press statement received from TN Chamber here today.
“Dr.N.Jegatheesan’s nomination is a recognition of his sustained efforts towards promoting the economic and industrial progress of Madurai and development of southern districts of Tamil Nadu. On behalf of our chamber, we express our heartfelt gratitude to Member of Parliament from Virudhunagar constituency and Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president Mr.B.Manickam Tagore for recommending and facilitating this nomination,” Mr.S.Sridhar, secretary, Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has said in a press statement issued from Madurai today-August 28th 2026.
P.Muthu Kumar, Airport Director, Madurai International Airport, had officially intimated to Dr.N.Jegatheesan that his name was nominated as member to the Airport Advisory Committee at Madurai International Airport.
