MADURAI: Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School at K.Pudur in Madurai had organized an awareness programme today-February 24th 2026- for its students about the benefits of ‘Kaaval Uthavi’ police assistance mobile app of Tamil Nadu Police which is aimed at giving quick help to rescue people during an emergency, especially women and children.
The awareness session for school students was done by All Women Police Station of Anna Nagar in Madurai and sub-inspector Ms.Ganga Gowri had explained about the benefits of Tamil Nadu State government’s ‘Kaaval Uthavi’ app, according to a press release received from the school here today-February 24th 2026.
She advised the students to download the mobile app in their parents’ mobile phones and told them to contact police helpline numbers 181, 1091 and 1098 in case of emergency or for safety of girl children, the press release added.
Mr.S.Sheik Nabi, Headmaster, Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School and assistant HM Mr.Zakir Hussain were among those who had stressed about the alert police app.
