MADURAI: The 7th edition of MADITSSIA’s ‘Made-in-Madurai Expo 2026’ is being organized from January 23rd to 25th with 125 stalls and free entry to visitors.
This exhibition will showcase a wide array of products that are manufactured in and around Madurai, particularly plastics, textiles, rubber, milk products, pharmaceuticals, furniture, motor pumps, food products, kitchenware, hospital-related products and engineering etc.
At a press meet held in Madurai today, the MADITSSIA team including its vice-president Mr.L.Aravind and organizing committee chairman of the expo Mr.A.Shyam Narayan along with other office-bearers gave details about the exhibition which will be at MADITSSIA Hall with lucky draw prizes and a final mega bumper draw.
“Our aim is to project our Madurai district’s strengths and opportunities. When we showcase our products, it will help to attract industries to establish their units in Madurai. There will be seminars also which are relevant to the current potential of Madurai district, and one of the focus areas is a seminar on tourism potential,” Mr.A.Shyam Narayan, Chairman, Made-in Madurai Expo 2026, told reporters at the press meet here on January 20th 2026.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Madurai Corporation Commissioner Ms.Chitra Vijayan and Mr.S.Ganesan, General Manager, District Industries Centre-Madurai will be present along with representatives from various State govenrment bodies that are promoting industries and entrepreneurship in Tamil Nadu.
