MADURAI: Voice Trust, a Madurai-based voluntary organization working in the sphere of public causes had received appreciation certificate from the Divisional Railway Manager of Madurai Division Mr.Om Prakash Meena here on October 11th 2025.
The certificate of appreciation was given for its active role in the ‘Swachhata’ drive carried out at railway colony area in Madurai as a part of the massive cleanliness and hygiene activities by the railway authorities in all railway premises for last two months as per the directions of Ministry of Railways.
Mr.T.Murugesan, founder and managing trustee of Voice-Trust-Madurai, had received the certificate from DRM Mr.Om Prakash Meena at the ‘Swachhata awards’ presentation function here in the presence of Additional Divisional Railway Manager Mr.L.N.Rao and Divisional Environment and Housekeeping Manager Mr.Gundewar Badal along with top railway officials and staff of Madurai Division.
Voice Trust had coordinated in the cleanliness drive at railway colony by involving volunteers, college students, Lions Club members and representatives from various associations, according to a press release here today.
At this awards function on October 11th 2025, awards and certificates were presented by the DRM to best maintianed railway stations, best trains, best railway yard and best railway colony etc, and those who were involved in the ‘Swachchata’ mission were honoured for their service.
