MADURAI: Two teachers of Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School at K.Pudur in Madurai were presented with ‘Aram Asiriyar Award’ in recognition of their devoted contributions to the teaching profession.
The recipients- Postgraduate teacher Mr.Tamilkumaran who has been serving at Al-Ameen School here for last 33 years and Assistant Headmaster (High) Mr.Alkaj Mohamed were felicitated at the Teacher’s Day special celebration organized by Madurai Humour Club at Meenakshi Mission Hospital in Madurai on September 7th 2025, where teachers from various schools in Madurai district were honoured with the awards.
Mr.V.M.Pandiarajan, organizing secretary, Madurai Humour Club, had presided over the function and those who felicitated the teachers include Dr.M.Jagadeesan, correspondent, Parasakthi Educational Trust, Mr.Bala Karthikeyan, chairman, Mount Litera School, Mr.Mariappan, treasurer, Tamil Iyakkam-Madurai district and Mr.S.Sheik Nabi, Headmaster, Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School.
Dr.Moses Mangalraj who received the Dr.Radhakrishnan State Best Teacher Award, had delivered the welcome address while Mr.Ismath, coordinator, Madurai Humour Club, had proposed a vote of thanks, according to a press release received from the school yesterday.
