MADURAI: The Chairman Emeritus of Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai Dr.P.Namperumalsamy has passed away today morning- July 24th 2025. He was 85 years age.
He was not well for last few days and he passed away at Chennai today morning. He is the Director – Research of Aravind Eye Care System.
Dr.P.Namperumalsamy is the Chairman Emeritus of Aravind Eye Care System and was one of the founder members team when the Aravind Eye Hospital was started a few decades back in Madurai by late Dr.Venkatasamy.
The body of Dr.P.Namperumalsamy is being brought to Madurai today and will reach here at around 3 pm, according to information received from the hospital.
