MADURAI: An awareness program was conducted at Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School in K.Pudur in Madurai today- June 26th 2025- to create public awareness against use of drugs, its ill-effects and the need for preventing drug abuse among younger generation.
“Our school has joined the K.Pudur E-1 police station in Madurai today for preventing drug abuse and to tell our youngsters about the ill-effects of drugs consumption,” Mr.Sheik Nabi, Headmaster, Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School in Madurai, has informed the media today.
School students had taken a pledge saying no to drugs and a rally was taken out in K.Pudur area here on June 26th 2025. Senior police officials including Madurai Annanagar Range assistant commissioner Sivasakthi and K.Pudur police station inspector Mr.Dileepan had addressed the students today about the harms of drugs and how they spoil people’s health.
