MADURAI: Nostalgia, past feelings and affection towards friends in the classroom came to the fore at the 1998 batch students meeting of Mangayarkarasi Higher Secondary School which took place here on May 17th 2025.
At Western Park Hotel near Madurai Railway Junction, the alumni of this 1998 batch of Mangayarkarasi Higher Secondary School- Maninagaram Rajamill Road here had gathered in the hotel here in Madurai and recalled their old school memories, and the teaching team names were school correspondent Mr.Ashok, Headmaster Purushothaman, and the teachers team-Rajathi, Usha Devi, Kanthammal, Sathasivam and Kanagaraj.
“This batch had studied in Mangayarkarasi School in Madurai from 1996-98 batch and we are very happy to meet after a gap of 28 years here today at this alumni meet by recalling, recollecting the school memories. We are honouring our past teachers who gave us a career in our life. The teachers also are very happy to meet their old students in the alumni batch today on May 17th 2025,” according to a press release issued by an old student in Madurai today evening.
