MADURAI: For the thirsty train passengers at Madurai railway station, there will be some relief from the scorching summer heat as buttermilk will be provided free to them.
Accepting the request of railway authorities, the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry here has come forward to sponsor 400 litres of buttermilk daily for the benefit of 2,000 passengers at Madurai railway junction. “This service will continue till the end of summer,” according to a railway press release here today- May 7th 2025.
