Madurai pays tributes to Jammu and Kashmir terror attack victims; Prays for families of tourists killed in Pahalgam by terrorists

MADURAI: A special prayer session was conducted in Madurai today morning to pay tributes for those who were killed by terrorists in the deadly terror attack on tourists at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir yesterday-April 22nd 2025.

Mr.Nellai Balu, founder of ‘Anushathin Anugraha’ which leads people in Kanchi Maha Periyava prayers, had organized the congregation at S.S.Colony in Madurai to pay respects for the over 25 civilians who were mercilessly killed by terrorists when they went to Pahalgam in J&k as tourists.

People from various walks of life gathered to pay their respects to the terror victims and they also prayed for the affected families. Along with Mr.Nellai Balu and Dr.Swaminathan, the residents of that S.S.Colony attended the prayer meeting and silently mourned the killing of innocent people and for persons who lost their lives.

“Human life is precious and such heinous killings should not happen. As ordinary people, we prayed to the God that such terror attacks should not happen again,” Mr.Nellai Balu has said in a press statement here on April 23rd 2025.
