MADURAI: The 10th edition of ‘Print n Pack’ expo is being conducted in Madurai from December 20th to December 22nd 2024 showcasing the latest in printing and packaging industry by the Madurai District Tiny & Small Scale Industries Association (MADITSSIA).
This printing and packaging fair will 2024 will be at Ida Scudder Auditorium in Velammal Hospital Complex in Madurai from 11 am to 4 pm for business visitors and from 4 pm to 7 pm for general public and it is entry free.
Speaking to reporters here today, MADITSSIA president Mr.A.Kodeeswaran and event chairman Mr.Pon Kumar informed that there will be 150 stalls in the expo and leading players in printing and packaging industry will display their latest machines and showcase cutting-edge technologies and products in multi-colour offset printing, digital printing, screen printing, sticker printing, packaging machinery, flexo and gravure printing etc.
“It will be an eye-opener expo for southern districts of Tamil Nadu because Madurai has emerged as an important destination for printing and packaging sector along with Sivakasi. There will be live demonstration of machines and those in this business will understand the latest technologies. We took steps for loan assistance also by bringing in a few banks- TMB, SIDBI and Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation,” Mr.Pon Kumar, Chairman, Print n Pack 2024 Exhibition, has said.
MADITSSIA president Mr.A.Kodeeswaran has said that Madurai has already made a mark for itself in printing sector especially notebooks and this three-day expo will be a boon for those in the business of printing and packaging.
“General public can see the stalls from 4 pm to 7 pm and entry is free. For business visitors, the timings is 11 am to 4 pm. The fair will be inaugurated by Mr.R.Ambalavanan, additional chief secretary and Director of Tamil Nadu Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute-Chennai in the presence of Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.C.Dinesh Kumar who will release the exhibition directory,” the organisers said.
