CHENNAI: The Press Council of India has initiated Suo-Motu cognizance against English magazine ‘Frontline’ for showing incorrect map of India on its cover page.
According to a press release, the chairperson of Press Council of India Mrs.Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai has taken suo-motu cognizance on showing incorrect Indian map by the ‘Frontline’ magazine on its cover page in its issue dated August 10-23, 2024. A show cause notice has been issued to the Editor of the magazine, the press release on August 8th 2024 has informed.
