MADURAI: Summer internship programme is being organized by Lady Doak College (LDC) in Madurai through its Science Instrumentation Centre and Research and Development Cell from May 20th to June 4th 2024.
Dr.R.Beulah Jeyashree, Principal and Secretary of LDC, in her introductory remarks had stressed on three important characteristics of a researcher- Curiosity, Critical thinking and perseverance to complete successful research.
The LDC Pirncipal had released the first copy of summer internship manual 2024 and it was received by college vice-principal Dr.Nirmala Elizabeth, a press release from college has said. This internship is on analytical and instrumentation techniques in sciences.
Dr.A.S.Priscilla, Dean (Academic Affairs-Sciences)-Assistant Professor of Zoology and Coordinator of Science Instrumentation Centre, had welcomed the gathering while Dr.G.Priscilla Sweetlin, Head and Assistant Professor of Botany and coordinator of LDC summer internship, had proposed a vote of thanks.
Students from American College, Thiagarajar College and Meenakshi College along with LDC students participated and benefiting from this programrme where the inaugural session prayer was led by Dr.C.Jessie Ranjitha Jeba Selvi, Chaplain and Associate Professor of English, the LDC press release has added.
