Kendriya Vidyalaya issuing apology to parents for 2-hour hot Sun punishment to their children in Madurai

MADURAI: The Kendriya Vidyalaya school at Narimedu in Madurai is today issuing an immediate apology to parents for the severe hardship caused to the 10th Standard students of this school who were made to stand for about two hours in the hot Sun bearing the scorching heat yesterday in the school ground ( it took place on April 15th 2024).

School sources told ‘Lotus Times’ media here today evening that class teachers were not involved in the action taken against Class X students and the school authorities giving an immediate apology for what had happened. (Tenth Class students were asked to stand on sand in the hot Sun yesterday (April 15th 2024 for two hours with their school bag on the head because they did not paste the mark-sheet in their notebook).

The ‘Lotus Times’ had carried a news item in the website today afternoon after it received authentic information from school sources informing that parents are very angry with the punishment given to their children and that they are ready to give a police complaint and also take up the matter with district authorities and top level education officials in Tamil Nadu.
