CHENNAI: A straight question was posed to the DMK in Tamil Nadu by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on whether it can contest the 2026 Assembly elections without forming an alliance with any party.

“I challenge the DMK and Mr.Stalin….Are you ready to contest the 2026 assembly elections without forming an alliance with any party? If you do so, you won’t get deposit in 234 assembly constituencies and DMK will be below NOTA in at least 50 assembly segments in Tamil Nadu,” Tamil Nadu BJP State Spokesperson Mr.A.N.S.Prasad has said in his strongly-worded press statement issued from Chennai on April 12th 2024.

WILL SMASH THE DRAVIDIAN MODEL:

Mr.A.N.S.Prasad of the Tamil Nadu BJP has said that the Prime Minister Mr.Modi’s frequent visits to Tamil Nadu will lead to BJP victory and NDA-led victory in the coming Lok Sabha polls and will ultimately smash the Dravidian Model and family succession politics in Tamil Nadu.

“There is a Modi wave right now in India. Since its formation, the DMK won only six Assembly elections (1967-1971-1989-1996-2006 and 2021). In 1967, the DMK won with Rajaji’s Swatantra Party, in 1971 the DMK won when the Congress part split, and in 1996 with the support of G.K.Moopanar’s TMC, and in the year 2006 with Congress party and PMK support, and in the year 2021 the DMK won due to the AIADMK split,” Tamil Nadu BJP State Spokesperson A.N.S.Prasad had pointed out today.

Mr.A.N.S.Prasad also questioned on whether Chief Minster Mr.Stalin and DMK can list out how many medical colleges, engineering colleges, arts and science colleges etc were started in Chennai under the DMK regime because DMK won most number of times in Chennai.
