MADURAI: Reliable sources in the Tamil Nadu BJP had today evening indicated that State general secretary Prof.Raama.Sreenivasan’s name is being strongly considered as Lok Sabha candidate for Madurai Parliament constituency while Mrs.Raadhika Sarathkumar is likely to be fielded from Virudhunagar Lok Sabha constituency.
Sources in BJP State headquarters ‘Kamalalayam’ in Chennai told ‘Lotus Times’ media on March 15th 2024 that the party is in discussion with alliance partners to get Madurai and Virudhunagar seats for BJP candidates and the names of Prof.Dr.Sreenivasan and Radhika Sarathkumar are being discussed respectively at the highest level of the party today.
“Prof.Raama.Sreenivasan is a very good leader of the party who is highly capable of articulating the party stand on key issues in an effective manner. He is from Madurai, so the party leadership as on date is considering his name for Madurai Parliament constituency instead of sending him to Tiruchi as is being speculated and talked in a section of media. The party feels that Prof.Raama.Sreenivasan should be the Madurai Lok Sabha candidate if Virudhunagar goes to Radhikaa Sarathkumar after the recent merger of All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi by actor Sarathkumar,” BJP sources from Chennai told ‘Lotus Times’ on March 15th 2024.
