MADURAI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had lashed out at a few political parties in Tamil Nadu by saying that they are in total panic because the 2024 Lok Sabha elections verdict is certain to give a hat-trick to Mr.Narendra Modi as Prime Minister and the padayatra of State president Mr.K.Annamalai is going to create history in the State.
“The people of Tamil Nadu are waiting to give a fitting reply to the opposition parties in the Parliament elections taking place very soon. Women, youth and first time voters and students are all now with the BJP thanks to the high impact padayatra undertaken by State president Mr.Annamalai. The DMK, AIADMK and other parties will see the people’s positive mandate for our party, and the ‘En Mann En Makkal’ padayatra is giving jitters to opposition parties,” Tamil Nadu BJP spokesperson Mr.A.N.S.Prasad has said in a press statement on February 7th 2024.
MODI-MALAI COMBINATION EFFECT:
The BJP spokesperson has raised a few questions on the frustration of a few opposition leaders who are making unsavoury statements against Mr.Modi and Mr.Annamalai just to be in limelight and get some attention.
“In 1996 itself, the BJP made its strong footing in Tamil Nadu by winning in elections going alone. As the LS polls are coming closer now, some parties are stooping to a low in their criticism. We see lot of fear and anxiety among some persons in the use of language. The 2024 election is different because the elections for Lok Sabha are taking place knowing pretty well who is the winner, and that is Mr.Modi at national level and Mr.Annamalai in Tamil Nadu,” said Mr.A.N.S.Prasad in his press statement yesterday and he also reminded that BJP won one MLA seat in 1996 when the AIADMK faced huge defeat in the assembly elections.
