MADURAI: The prestigious University of Madras may soon have a woman Vice-Chancellor another get selected from a Dalit SC community. Totally 177 candidates from different institutions in the country had applied for the VC position and from which 12 were called for interview by the Madras University VC position that will take place on 28th July 2020.
Reliable sources said today- on 23rd July 2020- that there is a view that a woman should be made the VC of University of Madras because women needs to be given their due share as their rights. So, all eyes are on 28th July 2020- when the interviews take place for the Madras University VC post. In that list of 12, is there is woman? Yes. THERE ARE TWO WOMEN IN THAT LIST OF 12?
