MADURAI: A 7-member team from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is coming to Madurai today at around 2 pm from New Delhi (10th July 2020) by flight to commence a detailed investigation into the father-son police custodial deaths at Sathankulam in Thoothukudi district, sources said today.
The CB-CID which has done the enquiry first had transferred the case to CBI and cases were registered against a few police accused in the custodial deaths of father P.Jayaraj and his son J.Benicks. CBI team will proceed to Tuticorin later today evening.
