CHENNAI: During this long lockdown imposed due to Corona, all were confined to homes for nearly 40 days. What to do, how to while away time, it is totally boring and is there anything to do beyond watching TV and memes? These were the questions asked to beat the boredom during lockdown.

A Chennai girl student had made the best use of ‘Stay Home Stay Safe’ time sitting at home learning how to prepare tasty cakes, cookies and pizzas. Ms.Akrithi Jain, a BBA student of Shri Shankarlal Sundarbal Shasun Jain College for Women at T.Nagar in Chennai, has dished out some mouth-lingering items.

“Thanks to lockdown, I wanted to try out creating from my home unique tasty dishes like chocolate cookies, wheat base pizza, vanilla signature sponge cake and cheese kulcha with paneer butter masala and kaju sabzi,” she says narrating her ‘Stay Home Stay Safe’ experience, on 4th May 2020.
Ms.Akrithi Jain says that she wanted to best utilize the time since the college was closed due to lockdown.

I wanted to be active in this quarantine. Thanks to my parents and friends I learnt making cakes and other dishes. Social media was full of sad news and trolls, so I focused on my kitchen and dining table to serve tasty dishes,” this college student says.

What makes her more happy is that her recipes were liked by the family and friends. Being active on Instagram and keeping herself active in learning some good dishes, food blogger Ms.Akrithi Jain has given a recipe of how to enjoy by doing the things you like.
