MADURAI: The Tamil Nadu Television Reporters and Cameramen Association has provided rice and groceries to media persons in order to support them during this total lock down period in the wake of Corona crisis.
On 24th April 2020, the association distributed grocery items and rice to 100 reporters and cameramen working for various news channels- media organisations in Madurai district. The grocery kits were given to them at the association office situated at East Veli Street (near Rajmahal) in Madurai.
“There are many reporters and cameramen who need support in this tough time. Since many of them require help, the association wanted to do something for our reporters and cameramen so that their families get some possible help from us,” the association has said.
Mr.S.Jaganathan, president, Tamil Nadu TV Reporters and Cameramen Association, Mr.K.Kasilingam, general secretary and Mr.M.Balamurugan, treasurer, handed over the grocery kits here today.
