MADURAI: Counting of ‘hundis’ at the famous Tiruparankundram temple in Madurai took place here today – 18th February 2020.
The total collection was nearly Rs.18.65 lakhs and it was Rs.18,64,380, according to temple authorities. Tiruparankundram is the first abode of Lord Muruga out of his six abodes.
In this Subramaniya Swami Temple in Tiruparankundram, the temple administration took steps to count the offerings of devotees in hundis with participation of devotees and students. Apart from cash offerings, there was 175 grams of gold and 1,240 grams of silver.
