MADURAI: The Madurai Corporation today asked the city residents to pay the tax amount immediately if they have not done till now.
Water tax, property tax, underground drainage tax, rent amount etc must be paid immediately so that the Corporation will be able to go ahead with developmental and infrastructure creation works, Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan has said in a press statement here on 3rd February 2020.
The press release had stated that the old structure of corporation tax as on 1st April 2011 will be in consideration and if excess amount was paid already, it will be adjusted. “We seek the cooperation of Madurai corporation residents in this regard,” the commissioner has said today.
