KASHMIR TERROR ATTACK: BJP POSTPONES MADURAI MEETING

MADURAI: Union Minister of Law and Information Technology Mr.Ravi Shankar Prasad’s scheduled meetings in Madurai on February 15th 2019 have been cancelled in the wake of terror strike in Jammu and Kashmir yesterday, which killed more than 40 CRPF jawans.    
 
Following the decision taken by party’s national leadership, the BJP has postponed his meetings and mourned the death of brave soldiers.
 
Mr.Ravi Shankar Prasad reached Madurai in the morning and met some representatives of associations, various organisations and community leaders – receiving representations from them to the Central government.
 
The Union Law Minister was supposed to address a meeting of community leaders and later talk to BJP booth committee members at the ‘Sakthi Kendra Sammelan’ near Othakadai here in the evening. These two programmes were postponed and another date will be decided shortly.
 
BJP leaders and a large number of functionaries gathered at the meeting venue in Rajagambhiram (near Othakadai) on February 15th evening and paid homage to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country.
