
MADURAI: The Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) has today formed a two-member committee to hold enquiry into the allegations of supply of question papers- answer sheets at homes for some distance education candidates to write their examinations in violation of rules. Complaint was given to university authorities for immediate investigation and specific mention was made about some university staff and three MKU study centres in Kerala by taking Rs.50,000 from each candidate.
Acting immediately, MKU Vice-Chancellor Prof.M.Krishnan has formed a two-member university committee. It includes MKU Syndicate Members Mr.R.Lakshmipathy and Mr.Dheenadayalan. This special investigation panel will submit a report to the university at the earliest after holding a detailed enquiry into the allegations and it will carry out a thorough fact-finding exercise, sources said today evening- on 8th August 2020.
