MADURAI: The moral responsibility taken by then Union Railway Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri in 1956 for the train accidents and submitting his resignation to the Prime Minister is one of the moral lessons that stands as a model for modern India.

Lal Bahadur Shastriji resigned as Railway Minister when train accidents took place in AP and Tamil Nadu (Ariyalur). He gave his resignation to Prime Minister Nehru and quit office owing moral responsibility when over 100 persons were killed in the train mishap.
Now, in this advanced India, thousands of people died because of Corona vorus in India. Lakhs of people got infected because of virus spread and still there is no clue when this virus will vanish. The entire country is out of track.

When the train went out of track, Lal Bahadur Shastri had resigned more than five decades ago. When the country’s health and economy has now gone out of track for more than three months, it is for the Union Home Minister in the Modi government to resign, by taking some responsibility because Mr.Amit Shah could not control the Corona positive cases despite a long lcokdown from March last week implemented through the guidelines of Union Home Ministry.
