MADURAI: The famous Alagarkoil Temple near Madurai was today sprayed with disinfectants as a preventive measure because of Coronavirus spread. Melur MLA Mr.Periyapullan and A.Vellalapatti executive officer Devi were among those supervised the spraying work undertaken at Alagarkoil temple on 24th April 2020.
A Disaster management vehicle was used to spray disinfectant liquids all over the temple premises by sanitary workers. Melur Union chairman Ponnusamy, Valayapatti panchayat president Jeeva Thangam, Union Councillor Malaisamy, Alagarkoil Temple Executive Officer Anitha, temple staff and others were present during this cleanup exercise at this temple today.
