MADURAI: The Central Government has taken a positive step of ensuring ‘social distancing’ in this present Corona Virus scare scenario by permitting teaching and non-teaching staff of universities, colleges and higher educational institutions to work from home till 31st March 2020.
Mr.Amit Khare, Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource Development- New Delhi, has sent a communication to the UGC, various higher education bodies and to the Chief Secretaries of all States in a letter dated 21st March 2020.
This is a part of preventive measures being undertaken on a war-footing across the country to prevent the spread of CORONA VIRUS – COVID-19.
There are some guidelines advised in this communication to be followed during this period by the faculty and staff and researchers etc.
