MADURAI: The world famous Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in Madurai is being given special cleanliness drive by temple staff and Madurai Corporation sanitation workers in view of Coronavirus prevention activities being undertaken on a massive scale across this temple city.
Intensive cleaning activity with disinfectants was done yesterday for the safety of devotees, pilgrims and tourists who throng the Meenakshi Temple in Madurai in large numbers everyday.
All important places, counters, queue lines, pillars, halls and rooms in the temple premises were washed and cleaned using germ killing chemical materials.
