MADURAI: The sanitation wing of Madurai Corporation had today undertaken a massive cleaning work at the historic Thirumalai Nayak Palace in Madurai as a part of coronavirus prevention activities.
Following the instructions of Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan, a team of sanitary inspectors had taken steps to clean this important tourist spot in Madurai city, officials said today- 16th March 2020.
At all places inside the Thirumalai Nayak palace, disinfectant chemicals lysol were used and sprayed especially at the popular spot where light and sound show is held. The chairs were completely cleaned.
