MADURAI: The office-bearers of Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association Limited for 2026-27 were elected at a meeting held in Madurai yesterday-August 29th 2026.
S.V.S.S.Velshankar was elected as president, S.Sai Subramaniam as honorary secretary while M.Karthikeyan will be the treasurer. Office-bearers were elected unopposed at the 81st annual general body meeting of the association, according to a press release from the association.
Those who were elected as vice-presidents are K.A.Kamaraj, N.Giridharan, S.Jeyahar, A.S.V.A.Mathavan and P.Kishore. The association’s honorary joint secretaries are D.Nagarajan, N.R.Ragavendra, P.Paramanantham, P.Suresh Babu and S.Vinoth Kannah.
The office-bearers election was conducted by chief election officers K.S.R.Natarajan and S.P.Jeyapragasam, the press release added.
