MADURAI: A Next Generation platform of Robotic Centre of Excellence 2.0 was launched at Meenakshi Super Speciality Hospital in Madurai today-July 30th 2026.
Film actors Mr.Prashanth Thiagarajan and Mr.Vijay Antony who is also a music director and philanthropist were invited as chief guests for the launch event at Meenakshi Super Speciality Hospital here today evening.
“Building on 10 years of expertise in robotic surgery, MSSH is now advancing to the next generation of robotic-assisted care….MT-1000….a next generation platform to support complex procedures across gastrointestinal, urology, gynaecology and other specialities. This technology will further strengthen our hospital’s facility to provide world class minimally invasive surgery for patients in southern Tamil Nadu,” according to a press release from the hospital.
Dr.S.Gurushankar, Chairman, Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre, Dr.Ramesh Ardhanari, Medical Director of MSSH, Dr.Mohan, HoD and senior consultant in Department of Medical and Surgical Gastroenterology and Mr.Dileep Bernard of MSSH, had addressed a press meet after the inauguration event to give full details to the media about Robotic Centre of Excellence 2.0 which was opened in the hospital premises here today evening.
