MADURAI: The All India Students’ Federation (AISF) has once again made its strong demand today for abolishing of NEET exam for pursuing medical education in India and also warned that it will escalate State-wide protests till NEET exam is abolished in India to ensure a federal admission process for medical colleges in the country once again.

“Cancellation of NEET (UG) 2026 shows the collapse of examination system and that is what AISF has consistently condemned this NEET exam. It is a discriminatory and corrupt exam imposed on the States. The current NEET exam scandal allegation pointed towards a Rajasthan coaching mafia paper-leak network selling a “guess paper” with 120 verbatim questions for lakhs of rupees has confirmed that our fears about NEET need nation wide attention from all States,” Mr.Viraaj Devang. AISF national president and Mr.Dinesh Seerangaraj, general secretary, have urged in a press release issued from New Delhi today-May 12th 2026.

The AISF had alleged that NEET is a deliberate gate-keeping mechanism that excludes rural students, poor, backward and vernacular medium students from joining medical colleges.

“The 2026 paper leak has shattered students’ lives and dreams….The NTA’s serial failures are continuing and there is an exam scam. The future of 22 lakh medical aspirant students is at stake. AISF rejects re-examination because it is not justice. We want the Central government to completely scrap NEET exam in India and also scrap NTA fully. The State governments must be empowered to decide their won medical colleges admission process through their entrance exam admission process. The AISF also demands that Centre funds must not be linked to State government acceptance of NEET….and our AISF will no rest until NEET is completely abolished in India to ensure a federal admission process for students who want to join medical colleges in their respective States,” the AISF press release from its national president Mr.Viraaj Devang and general secretary Mr.Dinesh Seerangaraj has stressed today-May 12th 2026.
