MADURAI: Leading multispeciality healthcare provider for patients in southern districts of Tamil Nadu- Devadoss Hospital in Madurai- had conducted an academic forum deliberation on January 30th 2026 to discuss the growing epidemic of obesity among people which is affecting their health, quality of life and causing long-term morbidity.
To commemorate its 200th academic forum meeting, the hospital had organized ‘OBESICON 2026’ here yesterday evening with a focused deliberation on rapidly rising obesity by medical experts from various specialities.
