MADURAI: The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with patriotic fervour and motherland passion at Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School in K.Pudur in Madurai today morning- January 26th 2026- as a motivational message was given to the young students that their education is a must for the development of our nation.
After unfurling the national tricolour in the school campus here today, the chief guest Mr.T.Gurusamy- who is the founder of Madurai Star Trust which is doing several community service projects in Madurai- has said that education should not be given up under any tough situation despite financial difficulties in the families because school education is for the nation.
“Go ahead with self-confidence always. And at the same time, you must have self-discipline too. We are for the nation and for our society around us. Protect water resources in your area and it is our responsibility. Our Madurai Star Trust is doing many environmental protection activities in Madurai’s Vaigai River stretch area here with funding support for CCTVs etc and our Trust is associated with the Government authorities,” Mr.T.Gurusamy has said while addressing the students of Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School at K.Pudur in Madurai on Janaury 26th 2026.
S.Sheik Nabi, Headmaster, Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School, has today thanked the school management and correspondent S.Mohamed Idriz and the school staff for successfully conducting the R-Day celebration by motivating the students.
Mrs.Meera Mohanram, retired senior officer from National Highways and Tamil scholar K.A.Adhithya were among those who were present at the Republic Day celebration here today.
K.Muhaideen Pitchai, vocational education teacher, welcomed the gathering while higher secondary Headmaster B.Zahir Hussain had proposed a vote of thanks and Tamil teacher Mr.A.Thoubik Raja had hosted the R-Day program by compering the R-Day event.
