MADURAI: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed new presidents of District Congress Committees for Tamil Nadu yesterday.
For Madurai Corporation unit, Mr.Bo.Nallamani has been appointed as DCC president while Mr.A.Noor Mohammad got appointed as DCC president for Madurai North, and for Madurai South district unit the DCC president is Mr.U.Ulaganathan.
The list of new DCC presidents for 71 party district units in Tamil Nadu was released by AICC general secretary Mr.K.C.Venugopal yesterday.
“The Congress president has approved the proposal for the appointment of presidents of District Congress Committees of Tamil Nadu with immediate effect. These appointments were made based on detailed reviews, comprehensive reports and one-to-one discussions held with AICC observers as well as with senior leaders of the Congress Party,” the AICC general secretary Mr.K.C.Venugopal has said in a press release issued from New Delhi on January 18th 2026 along with list of names of new DCC presidents for Tamil Nadu.
